RS 200"The top choice for lightweight teams. Thats why there are club fleets all over the place, big regattas and superb tactical assymetric events. The RS 200 is ideally suited to many of the smaller lakes in the North and has therefore been a huge success. The MSDS RS 200 is sailed to a high level achieving national championship race wins. MSDS is the proud sponsor of the successfull RS200 Northern Tour.
RS VAREO The RS Vareo is whatever you make of it! cruise with a passenger or race at the club with the asymetric spinaker and realise its true potential. This boat offers all the thrills of a singlehanded assymetric but without the added hassle of a trapeze. Its also very stable due to its versatile hull shape.
RS Feva XL The new benchmark in small sailboats. Durable compact PE3 polyethylene hull and huge cockpit. Easy handling but awesome performance. Being very popular with junior crews it already has its own full racing circuit. Picture

Tips
Below is a list of sailing tips which we update regular.
All of these tips have been tried and tested and are
design so that you can get the most out of your boat.
| Spinnaker problems |
Newer spinnakers have a larger ring on the lowerpatch, stop the downhaul knot going through this ring by using a small bobble between the patches

| main halyard |
The standard low stretch main halyard is the best for the job but will break . Extend its working life by cutting off 300 mm sections every 2 months if used regularly. Vary time according to use

| Tiller extension joint |
Don't leave the exension bent over when left in the boat, leaving at 90 degrees will considerably lengthen its life
|
| fairlead position |
Move the fairleads forward for power in the light to medium conditions and right back for less in the strong winds
|
| Righting lines |
Really useful for righting RS 200s get some now for only £15. Complete kit with all parts and instructions

| Dont use Kicker in Light Conditions |
Avoid using the kicker in medium to light conditions especially up wind
|
| Toe straps |
Alter toe strap lengths to make hiking more comfortable
|
| Spinnaker saving tip |
Tape up the talurit at the bottom of the forestay to save spinnaker
|
| Main sail saving tips |
Put sail repair tape on main where it rubs on shrouds to prevent holes
